Andrea is taking on a new "Library Construction" project and needs your support. Developed out of a pressing community need, this project will be implemented by both Andrea and the primary project beneficiaries. This project will benefit the people of the community for many years to come.
In order to implement this project, Andrea must raise $5169 from friends, family and other organizations in the United States. Andrea and the people of the community are asking for your assistance to turn this project into a reality.

French is the official language of Burkina Faso; however, it is often the second, third or even fourth language learned by a Burkinabè. In the community, the majority of students are exposed to French only in the classroom. Increased access to French books, documents and other resources would help students with their French literacy and comprehension, and inadvertently improve their understanding and results in the classroom. Fortunately, these books and documents exist at the Lycée Départemental. In spite of this, there is no physical library; keeping students and staff from easily accessing valuable resources, and also keeping students from having a valuable study space.
The construction of a library for our campus would greatly help our students in their efforts to succeed academically. The community is ready to provide labor, local materials and transport of non-local materials to make this vision a reality.

Thank you for all your contributions! If you can tell us the amount you are going to contribute, then we can more easily end this fundraising project without wasting a bullet. (You never know when she will be running another project) $10 is not too small, and $100 is not too big.

After 3 months training, she is teaching math in the school of Yaba.
Yaba is capital of Nayala Province in western Burkina Faso. (no paved road)
